Name: What's Next

Description: As more and more women approach mid-life, many are leaving…or want to leave…the corporate world for various reasons…including the desire for more balance in their lives and wanting to do something more meaningful. And many are asking that age-defying question…

What's Next?

What’s Next? is a one-day workshop that builds on concepts presented in Rena Pederson's book What's Next, and is designed to help women transition from a life spent in corporate America to a life without corporate America. Women who have stayed at home to raise a family and are now exploring options or anyone who wants to make a career change will benefit from the concepts presented in this workshop.

This What’s Next? Workshop allows you to participate in an engaging exploration of what you really want to do with your life. During this workshop, you will have opportunities to…
  • Compose a two-movement symphony of your life…what it's been like so far…and what you want it to be like in the future
  • Discover how the successes and failures of your life…personal, professional, and financial…are (or are not) preparing you for the life you want for your future
  • Experiment with ideas for recognizing your passion and giving yourself permission to take control of your life and follow your passion
Facilitator: Katherine Bock

Katherine Bock, an executive coach and “recovering attorney” who spent most of her career in the financial services industry--ultimately as CEO and President of a private trust company, helps individuals find their passion and then translate it into action at different stages of life. She asked and answered the question, “What would you do for free?” as part of her What’s Next odyssey and says “it doesn’t get better than this and you, too, can achieve an even better second half.”
